📑 Supplier contracts
Updated
Which contract with a supplier a receipt, a payment or a debt correction belongs to, and how much is owed on each contract.
How the process works#
A supplier often works under several contracts at once — a contract per brand, per legal entity of the supplier, per price agreement (1C: ДоговорКонтрагента). The contract is named on every purchasing document, and the debt to the supplier is kept per contract ("settlement by the contract as a whole"): a payment on one contract does not close a receipt on another.
- Purchasing → Dictionaries → Supplier contracts: create the contracts of each supplier.
- A purchase order (receipt), supplier invoice, purchase return, purchase credit note, vendor refund and every vendor payment line name the contract.
- Posting writes the debt to
PayableandPayableByBasisunder the contract. - Settlement documents — debt opening, offset, transfer and write-off — name the contract on the payable side and move the debt of that contract.
A document without a contract posts as before: its debt sits on the supplier with no contract.

| Step | Payable LUNA | Payable REXON | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Receipt 3 × 10 on LUNA | 30 | 0 | 30 |

| Write-off 200 on REXON | refused: only 50 is open on REXON | ||
| Write-off 20 on REXON | 0 | 30 | 30 |
Boundaries and edge cases#
- A contract of another supplier, of another legal entity, in another currency, or different from the receipt's contract on a return, credit note, supplier invoice or payment basis — refused, the message names the contract.
- Expired and disabled contracts are refused only where new debt arises (receipt, supplier invoice, opening balance). Payments, returns, credit notes, refunds, offsets, transfers and write-offs may settle them.
- No contract is picked automatically: suppliers run several live contracts at the same time.
