Run a delivery trip

Updated

Use a delivery trip when approved sales orders already sit on a route and you need the van to leave and come back. Dispatch stamps the real departure; complete stamps the real finish.

Note

The trip writes no debt and no stock. Those wait for the sales realization. Completing the trip can still move the linked sales order forward, or cancel it when Outcome is Refused. Command messages stay in Russian whatever the interface language.

How to#

To run a trip, open Ribbon → Sales → Documents → Delivery trips.

Press New. Pick Route, Delivery date, Vehicle, and Driver. Empty Depot, Vehicle, and Driver fill from the route or from that weekday's schedule when you Save. The trip stays Draft.

Then press Fill from route. Confirmed orders for the route outlets on that Delivery date become Stops. Each stop copies the window, Dwell, min, and planned pin from the route stop.

The state on the card does not move the trip. Press Dispatch trip. Planned departure becomes the trip date plus the schedule hour and minute for that weekday — empty when there is no schedule. Actual departure becomes the moment you pressed the button. The trip is Dispatched.

While the trip is on the road, fill Arrived at and Departed at on a stop if you want a window verdict. Both are optional: a trip without per-stop marks completes as before. Empty Arrived at means "not marked", not midnight. You may also fill Actual latitude and Actual longitude.

Then press Complete trip. Actual completion is stamped — never earlier than Actual departure — and the trip becomes Completed and read-only. Being late, or farther than Arrive radius, m, is named in the message and does not block completion. A late stop is named as 90 minutes late; it still completes.

Zero and zero on a planned pin means "no pin", not a point on the map. Arrive radius, m of zero skips the distance check. An unfilled actual point is not checked either.

Example

  • Weekday Wednesday
  • Schedule 06:30
  • Delivery date 16 September

After Dispatch trip:

  • Planned departure 16 September 06:30
  • Actual departure now

Stop 1 window 09:00–10:00:

  • Arrived at 09:30 — Complete trip on time
  • Arrived at 11:30 — still completes; names stop 1 as 90 minutes late

Plan 50.4501, 30.5234. Actual one kilometre north 50.4591, 30.5234 ≈ 1001 m:

  • Arrive radius, m 300 — names stop 1 as 1001 m from plan
  • Arrive radius, m 0 — distance is not mentioned
  • Actual latitude empty — distance is not mentioned

Tip

Dispatch trip is not on the card after the trip has left. Until you press it, the trip stays Draft, however often you save it. Departed at without Arrived at is refused.
