FiscalPeriod
Updated
A fiscal period is a date window inside a fiscal year. Postings pick it by date. Only Status Open accepts movements. Any other stored value, including Closed and Locked, refuses posting and unposting for dates in that window.

All of those fields except ID are required. FromDate must not be after ToDate. Windows must not overlap: each date belongs to exactly one period. Periods close in order — a later period cannot leave Open while an earlier sibling is still Open.
There are no commands on this card. Status is edited on the record.
Closing a period revalues foreign-currency receivables and payables at its end when Revalue on period close is on in AccountingSettings. That behaviour is added by Sales and Purchasing extensions; they add no fields.
