Create an employee
Updated
Create an employee when a person should appear on a time sheet and on payroll.
Note
Saving posts no pay. Time sheet lines point at the employee. Accrue payroll is a later button on an Approved time sheet — Run payroll.
How to#
To create an employee, open Ribbon → HR → Dictionaries → Employees.
Press New. Fill Name, Division, Position, and Hire date. Nationality and Active can stay as they are. Save. The card receives an ID and the row appears in Employees. Pay stays as it is.
Division is picked from Ribbon → Organization → Dictionaries → Divisions. If the picker is empty, create a division first — Create a division.
Position is picked from Ribbon → HR → Dictionaries → Positions. If the picker is empty, create a position first — Create a position.
There is no extra button after Save. A later time sheet names this person on Lines.
Example
The stand already has Halyna Symonenko on Empiro Foods Distribution.
- Name Ivan Kovalenko
- Division Empiro Foods Distribution
- Position Warehouse operator
- Hire date 1 Feb 2026
Save. A time sheet for that division can name Ivan Kovalenko on Lines. Pay is still zero.
Tip
A day before Hire date is skipped when you fill a time sheet. Put the hire date on or before the week you will record.
