Updated
Money on each bank account, in the account currency. Payments and transfers through the account move it. The cut is the account, not a counterparty.

The register allows a negative balance.
Written by#
CashIncome raises it. CashExpense lowers it. MoneyTransfer moves it between accounts, or between an account and a cash desk. CustomerPayment raises it when Bank account is set. VendorPayment lowers it when Bank account is set. CustomerRefund and VendorRefund also write it.
CashBalance is the same total for a cash desk.
