EDT
Updated
An EDT is the type of a field: a scalar, a Reference to a dictionary (or a document), or an Enum. Declare the EDT once. Fields reuse it through edtMetaId.
Note
A Reference EDT stores the target's
MetaId(a Guid, no type tag). The target's type is this EDT. See Identity.
Scalar baseType values: String, Integer, Long, Decimal, DateTime, Boolean, Guid, plus length / precision+scale. Integer is Integer, not Int — Schema.
EDTResolver maps the EDT to a physical column. A Reference becomes uniqueidentifier. An enum becomes an integer.
A field on somebody else's object is not an EDT change on theirs. It is an extension field in your model — Extend another model.
An enum EDT (edtType: "Enum") is a different object — Enum, Create an enum. Create an EDT is Reference and scalar.
Reference does not catalog every EDT. Look in EDTs/ of the model that owns the dictionary you point at.
