Name, LegalEntity, and Currency are required. Currency is the only currency the account holds; a money document through it must be in it. Empty Ledger account uses the cash account of the AccountingSettings.
ID comes from BankAccountSeq, which starts at 1000 and steps by 1.
The optional Bank reference is the structured bank relation. The Okrasheno 1C sync also copies the linked bank's name to BankName for compatibility.

A bank account can point to one Bank record or none. It does not model several banks or bank branches as separate account relationships.
