DeliveryTrip

Updated

A delivery trip is the morning run: driver, route, and stops in visit order. Complete trip closes the stops' sales orders. The trip itself writes no register.

SalesOrder is required. It is stored as a guid that points at the order. Planned and actual latitude/longitude also exist on the line; they are copied from the route stop and from the served pin.

Commands and states#

State Command What happens
Draft Fill from route Adds stops from the route: confirmed orders for each live route stop on the trip date.
Draft Optimise stop order Reorders stops.
Draft Dispatch trip Dispatched. Stores Actual departure.
Dispatched Complete trip Completed. Stores Actual completion. Normal and partial stops move their sales orders forward; refused stops cancel confirmed orders.
Draft — Archived. No command: only a migration loader moves a trip here, from Draft. Nothing else happens.

Fill from route (FillTripFromRoute), Optimise stop order (OptimiseTripStops), and Dispatch trip (DispatchTrip) are bound to Draft. Complete trip (CompleteTrip) is bound to Dispatched. Completed is read-only. The stored captions match the names: Draft, Dispatched, Completed, Archived.

Archived holds trips taken over from a previous system as history. It is read-only, has no command and no transaction script. Unlike Completed it moves no sales order and issues no invoice: the old system's invoices are loaded separately. A user cannot reach it from the card.

Registers#

None. DeliveryTripTransactions writes no movement. Stock and receivable stay on the sales documents the completion command advances.
