ContributionType
Updated
A contribution type is an extra payroll fund beyond statutory social insurance: health insurance, union dues, voluntary funds. Rates and the wage ceiling live on this card. Statutory social insurance stays in HR settings and is recognised on an accrual line by an empty contribution type.

Name, Code, and IsActive are required. A new card opens with Active ticked. Rates are fractions of the contributory base: 0.0125 is 1.25%. Zero Contributory wage ceiling means no ceiling, not a zero base. Empty expense and payable codes fall back to the social insurance accounts on Accounting settings. Zero foreign rates mean foreign staff are not withheld for this contribution.
Only active types whose rates for the employee's nationality are not both zero are accrued from payroll.
