SocialInsurance

Fund liability for the employee share and the employer share. An accrual raises both resources. Paying the fund lowers both. The cut is employee, division, and contribution type so a payment to one fund does not close another.

Dimensions and resources#

|---|---|
| Analytic | Employee → Employee, required |
| Analytic | Division, required |
| Analytic | ContributionType → ContributionType |
| Resource | EmployeeContribution |
| Resource | EmployerContribution |
There are no schema dimensions. ContributionType is not required: empty is the statutory social insurance of HR settings. A filled type is an extra contribution from ContributionType. The register is not double-entry. It allows a negative balance.
This is the accumulation register. SocialInsuranceAccrual is the document that raises it. Paying the fund is SocialInsurancePayment, a different document.
The employee share also lowers PayrollLiability Amount on the accrual, so the employee is paid net. Paying the fund does not put that share back on the employee.

SocialInsuranceAccrual on Posted: SocialInsuranceAccrualTx adds both resources for the line employee, the header division, and the line contribution type. SocialInsurancePayment on Paid: SocialInsurancePaymentTx subtracts both resources on the same cut. PayrollAccrual and PayrollPayment do not write this register.
