Create a sales person
Updated
Create a sales person when a field agent will take an order or run a visit day. The ribbon list is Sales agents. Saving stores that agent; an order still names them in Agent.
Note
Save writes no order. This is not an HR employee and not a driver. The visit day is Run a field visit.
How to#
To create a sales person, open Ribbon → Sales → Dictionaries → Sales agents.
Press New. Fill Name. Login can wait. Save. The card receives an ID, and the row appears in Sales agents. No order is written.
Name is required. Login is the user name or e-mail the agent signs into the mobile app with. Login user is filled from Login on Save; do not type it. Empty Login does not bind the phone. Clear Login and Save to unbind.
Then open Ribbon → Sales → Documents → Sales orders. On a new order, pick this person in Agent. That still writes no visit — Run a field visit.
Example
- Name Olena Field
- Login empty
Save. The list Sales agents shows Olena Field. A sales order can pick this Agent. The phone still has no agent until Login is a user that already exists under Ribbon → Administrator → Access → Users.
Tip
Create the user first, then type that user name or e-mail in Login. If several users share an e-mail, type the user name. One login binds one agent. A van driver is a different card under Ribbon → Sales → Dictionaries → Drivers. A payroll person is Create an employee.
If the command refuses#
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The save says to fill Name | Fill Name. |
| The save says there is no user with this Login | Create or find the user under Ribbon → Administrator → Access → Users, then type the user name or e-mail in Login. |
| The save says this e-mail matches several users | Type the user name in Login, not the e-mail. |
| The save says this Login is already bound to another agent | Open that agent, or pick another Login. |
| You expected an order after Save | This list writes no order. Pick Agent on the order, or run a visit — Run a field visit. |
