TaxPayment
Updated
A tax payment settles the book tax liability. It is a separate document from TaxReturn and TaxDocument: filing stays frozen, and TaxLedger is not touched.

Fields#
| Field | Caption | Points at |
|---|---|---|
ID |
Number | number sequence |
LegalEntity |
Legal entity | LegalEntity |
ID comes from TaxPaymentSeq, which starts at 1000 and steps by 1. Empty Legal entity still lets the payment post; there is no ledger entry.
Table parts#
Lines are TaxPaymentLines, caption Lines.
| Field | Caption | Points at |
|---|---|---|
TaxCode |
Tax code | TaxCode, required |
Amount |
Amount | money, required, must be greater than zero |
Commands and states#
| State | Command | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Pay tax | Paid. The book VAT payable is reduced by the sum of the lines. |
Pay tax (PayTax) is bound to Draft. Paid is read-only. The stored captions match the names: Draft, Paid.
The command refuses a document with no lines, and a line whose Amount is not greater than zero. Filing with the authority is not this command.
Registers#
On Paid, TaxPaymentTx writes GL only when Legal entity is set and accounting settings exist: debit the VAT payable account, credit the cash account, for the sum of the lines, on books FIN,TAX. There is no TaxPayable register. TaxLedger is unchanged.
A missing setup writes no ledger legs; the document still becomes Paid.
