Commands and states#

State Command What happens
Draft Register Registered. Stamps matched amount and difference, then posts the difference to payable.

Register (RegisterSupplierInvoice) is bound to Draft only. Registered is read-only. The stored captions match the names: Draft, Registered. The declared transition is Draft to Registered.

Enter supplier invoice lives on PurchaseOrder, not on this card. It drafts an invoice from a Received order and copies supplier, dates, payment term, contract, and the lines not invoiced yet.

Registers#

On Registered, SupplierInvoicePayableTx adds the gross difference to Payable for the supplier, and for the supplier contract when the header has one. A zero difference writes nothing. SupplierInvoiceGLTx books the net difference as purchase price variance when a variance account is set. Input tax on a non-zero difference is a TaxCalculation, not a stock correction.
