Updated

BaseQuantity is hidden. It is filled on save from Quantity and Unit. GoodsIssueTx posts BaseQuantity when it is not zero, and Quantity otherwise. An empty line FromCell uses the header FromCell.
Commands and states#
Draft is the initial state. Posted is read-only. The stored captions match the names. PostGoodsIssue is shown on Draft only.
| State | Command | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Post goods issue | Posted. The command refuses an empty document, a quantity that is not above zero, and a sum of lines above the on-hand of the header FromCell. Posting then refuses a non-positive quantity, a line above that line's cell, and a quantity above free stock. |
Registers#
On Posted, GoodsIssueTx writes Stock: dimension Item, dimension Cell, resource Qty as a minus. The cell is the line FromCell when it is set, and the header FromCell otherwise. This document does not write ReservedStock. The reserve check reads other documents' ReservedStock and refuses a quantity above free stock.
When accounting settings exist and the header cell has a legal entity, the costing extension writes the inventory write-off journal for the cost taken off the layers: debit Inventory write-off account, credit Inventory account.
