Analytic — reusable breakdown
Updated
What it is#
A register dimension declared once in the global catalog and attachable to any number of registers (see §8.2 global catalog of analytics). Do not confuse it with a dimension declared directly in a register's dimensions (Register): that is the register's OWN local breakdown, which nobody else reuses. Analytic exists exactly for breakdowns shared by several registers (LegalEntity is in GL, TaxLedger, and Payroll).
JSON envelope#
<Name>.json, "kind": "Analytic" — wraps a reference EDT:
{
"kind": "Analytic",
"object": {
"caption": { "en": "Country", "ru": "Страна" },
"edtMetaId": "<GUID EDT Reference>",
"description": "Reusable analytic over the Country dictionary",
"metaId": "<GUID Analytic>", "name": "Country", "modelId": "<GUID Model>"
}
}
C# base#
There is no separate class. A register that attaches the analytic receives a typed dimension property as a normal transaction field.
Events / Chain of Command#
None.
Example#
LegalEntity (→ Organization.LegalEntity, owner Organization, used by the GL, TaxLedger, and Payroll registers) — see §8.2.
