Configure loyalty
Updated
Set the point ladder and the dated earn-rate windows. The customer's balance then chooses the tier. You do not type Bronze, Silver, or Gold on the customer card.
Note
There is no accrue button here. Points accrue on the customer when a sales realization is Released, not when the order is approved. Writing points off is a different document — Redeem loyalty points.
How to#
To switch the programme on, open Ribbon → CRM → Settings → CRM settings. Turn Loyalty enabled on. Fill Loyalty points per currency unit — the rate a tier uses when its own Earn rate is 0. Save. You cannot switch loyalty on or off from a tier.
To fill the ladder, open Ribbon → CRM → Dictionaries → Loyalty tiers. Press New. Fill Name, Minimum points, Max redemption per document, Discount, %, and Earn rate. Save. A rate of 0 inherits the CRM settings rate. A positive rate overrides it: Silver at 3 gives three points per unit of revenue even if settings say 1.
To overlay a campaign, open Ribbon → CRM → Dictionaries → Loyalty campaigns. Press New. Fill Code, Name, Earn rate, and Effective from. Effective to can stay empty. Item group empty means every invoice line; a filled group applies the rate only to lines in that group. Customer type empty means every customer; a filled type applies only to customers of that type. Save. Leave Disabled off for a live window.
While a campaign is running, its rate overrides both the tier and the settings. Two live campaigns over the same dates, the same Item group, and the same Customer type will not save. Campaigns for different groups, or a typed campaign next to a general one, can run side by side. The narrow window wins.
There is no post button on a tier or a campaign. Save stores the row. Accrual happens later, when you issue a realization.
Example
- Loyalty points per currency unit 2
- General campaign Earn rate 4
- B2B campaign Customer type B2B
- B2B campaign Earn rate 5
Invoice 3 at 5, Released:
- B2B customer 75 points
- Retail customer 60 points
Tip
A customer's first invoice with a zero balance uses the lowest tier reached — usually a Bronze row with Minimum points 0. That same invoice does not raise the tier yet: points are earned at the balance the customer arrived with. The balance is Ribbon → CRM → Registers → Loyalty points, layout Loyalty points by customer. Purchase history is Ribbon → CRM → Reports → Purchase history — issued invoices, not points. Loyalty does not replace the price list or the contract price. You do not pick the campaign on the invoice: the server chooses the rate when the invoice is released. On the agent phone, an item shows a campaign rate without customer type (
4 pts · Beans). A campaign that is only for B2B is not shown there.
If the command refuses#
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The save says the tier discount must be from 0 to 100% | Enter Discount, % between 0 and 100. |
| The save says the tier earn rate cannot be negative | Enter 0 or a positive Earn rate. 0 inherits CRM settings. |
| The save asks for the campaign code | Fill Code. |
| The save asks for the campaign name | Fill Name. |
| The save says the campaign rate must be greater than zero | Enter a positive Earn rate. |
| The save says the campaign window is reversed: the start is after the end | Swap Effective from and Effective to, or clear Effective to. |
| The save says another loyalty campaign already covers this period for this group and this customer type | Shorten the dates, pick another Item group or Customer type, or tick Disabled on the other row. |
| The save says the chosen customer type is not in the dictionary | Pick Customer type from Ribbon → Sales → Dictionaries → Customer types. |
| Points do not appear after you save a tier | Accrual is not this card. Release a sales realization — Issue a realization. |
