SalesQuotation
Updated
A sales quotation is an offer to the customer. It does not recognise debt, revenue, tax, or stock reservation. Create sales order adds a draft sales order.

Customer, Contract, Location, and DeliveryDate are required. ValidUntil is optional. A year before 1902 is stored as 1 January 1900, printed blank, and does not expire the quotation.

BaseQuantity is filled on save from the quantity and the unit. It is hidden and is not edited by hand. The line has no amount, no line discount, and no tax code. The Quotation print form computes the line amount and applies DiscountPercent to the total.
Commands and states#
The stored value and the caption are the same word: Draft, Issued, Converted, Cancelled. Issued, Converted, and Cancelled are read-only.

| Issued | Create sales order | Converted, and one SalesOrder is created in Draft. Customer, contract, ship-from location, and lines with a quantity above zero are copied. Outlet, delivery date, contact, agent, payment term, delivery term, a non-zero discount, and notes are copied when they are set. A non-zero price is kept so the draft order does not reprice the line. A past Valid until refuses, and the quotation stays Issued. A second conversion returns the same order, found by Source quotation. |

Registers#
This document moves none. SalesQuotationTransactions is attached and its GetTransactions adds no rows. ReservedStock is not written here.
