Commands and states#

The stored values Draft and Confirmed use those same captions. Confirmed is read-only. Confirm pick is bound to Draft. There is no command on Confirmed.

State Command What happens
Draft Confirm pick Confirmed. Stock decreases on FromCell and increases on each line's ToCell. The draft reservation on the storage cell is removed. A task with a sales order parent writes ReservedStock on the picking cell.
— Gather pick wave User command on Inventory → Documents. Two or more drafts that share FromCell and that have a sales order parent become one new draft. The folded drafts are deleted. On-hand stock stays.

Registers#

Draft writes ReservedStock on FromCell, for a hand-made task as well as one created from a sales order. Confirmed writes Stock (PickTaskTx): minus the posted quantity on FromCell, plus the same quantity on ToCell. PickTaskFollowReserveTx writes ReservedStock on the picking cell when the task has a sales order parent. There is no general-ledger posting. Stock allows a negative balance; the shortage check is in the command and the before-post handler.
