TaxSettings
Updated
Tax settings is the singleton of the Tax module: one record, opened for edit, not deleted. Determination reads Default tax code as the last fallback. Prices include tax says whether document prices already contain tax.

ID comes from TaxSettingsSeq, which starts at 1 and steps by 1. Empty Default tax code means a document with no rule and no mapping posts with no tax calculation. Saving a selected code stamps the hidden DefaultTaxCode text, which is the value determination reads. Clearing the lookup does not wipe that text.
The platform refuses a second row. Open this list and edit the one record.
There is no per-legal-entity settings card. Prices include tax is one company flag.
