A currency is a named money unit. Legal entities, cash desks, bank accounts, and documents point at one currency. Amount-in-words forms live on this card; the live rate does not.

Name and Code are required. ID comes from CurrencySeq, which starts at 1000 and steps by 1. Code is not unique and is not validated as ISO 4217. Empty Symbol is lawful. Empty word forms leave amount-in-words without that language's unit or fraction names. Amount-in-words forms are storage; a missing translation is not refused on save.

Unit gender and Fraction gender are WordGender: Masculine, Feminine, or Neuter. They are not the Gender dictionary. Empty few-form uses the many-form.

This dictionary is not hierarchical. There are no commands. This dictionary writes no register. Dated rates live on ExchangeRate. No feed fills rates from a central bank.
