ItemStoragePlace

Updated

One row is one more cell an item is meant to lie in, besides its default storage place. It is a plan written by hand, not a count: the quantities by cell are in the Stock register.

Cell Storage place StoreCell

Item and Cell are required. Note says why the item has this cell at all — seasonal stock, bulk packaging, a shelf in the showroom.

Rows are normally typed on tab Storage places of the Item card, which is this dictionary filtered by Item and ordered by cell. The menu item opens the same rows as a flat list across all items.

Hierarchy#

This dictionary is not hierarchical.

Who references this#

No object stores an ItemStoragePlace field. Nothing reads these rows when goods are received or picked: a receipt follows Default storage place on the item, and a pick follows the stock. The list is for the people in the warehouse.

There are no commands. This dictionary writes no register.
